Frank Buncom (November 2, 1939–September 14, 1969) was an American football linebacker.

Professional career

Buncom played for seven seasons in the American Football League, with the San Diego Chargers and the Cincinnati Bengals from 1962 to 1968. He was a three time AFL All-Star, in 1964, 1965, and 1967. He is a member of the Chargers Hall of Fame. He died in 1969 in his sleep the night before the Bengals' opening game.

High School Career

Buncom prepped at Dorsey High School in Los Angeles.

College career

Buncom played college football in the University of Southern California.
