Welland Park Community College, or Welland Park School as it is better known is a middle school in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

chool history

The school was originally known as Welland Park High School. There is another nearby middle school, the Kibworth High School, that feeds into the Robert Smyth School (upper school).

Curriculum

Whilst it caters for pupils aged 11 to 14, it also works with different community groups providing facilities. Subjects offered for Key Stage 3 (KS3) include the core SATs subjects of English, Maths and Science; Modern Foreign Languages (primarily French, although students are also given the option of studying German); Design subjects including Art, Textiles and Food Technology; Humanities including Geography, History and Religious Studies.

It is located on "Welland Park Road" and like the road, is named after the River Welland by which it was built. It has an "Octagonal Hall" that is used for many theatrical productions in the town.
