Australian rules football club competing in theSydney AFL league and based out of theSydney suburb ofPennant Hills, New South Wales . Their home ground is Ern Holmes Oval.History
The club formed in 1971. Best and fairest in the first season was Edward "Nobby" Clark, a classy left footer originally from Western Australia. They were promoted to the top Sydney grade, the SFL (now Sydney AFL Premier Division) in 1977.The club has twice won the premiership. Their first was in 2000, when they defeated North Shore 15.12 (102) to 12.7 (79) at Macquarie Uni. Their second was in 2006, in driving rain on a quagmire at Henson Park; when the Demons scored 8 behinds in a row, all of them on the run, to come from 6 points down to defeat the previously undefeated East Coast Eagles by 2 points. Final scores Pennant Hills 5.20 (50) d East Coast 7.6 (48).
