Fawn Deer

Fawn Deer

Fawn Deer is an anthropomorphic female toon deer from the 1993 Disney Animated Show Bonkers which aired on the Disney Afternoon. She was voiced by Nancy Cartwright.

She originally made her debut in the animated short "Petal to the Metal" which was shown before the movie "3 Ninjas"

She officially made her animated television debut on the 1992 CBS Saturday Morning show Raw Toonage. Here she was portrayed at times as a cavewoman, a princess, a ski patrol nurse, a cowgirl, a pilgrim, or as a damsel in distress that needed help from, or be rescued by Bonkers.

But most of the time she was that one girl that Bonkers went nuts over every time he saw her.

It is shown at times in beginning or at the end of a cartoon that she does love Bonkers, by giving him a kiss, usually on the cheek or at some times on the lips.

She along with Bonkers and the rest of the He's Bonkers cast debuted in the prime-time pilot Going Bonkers for the series Disney's Bonkers, here she is let go along with her friends by WackyToon Studios for not topping the ratings chart.

After being fired, she was captured by The Collector, who ended up imprisoning her along with Jitters, Grumbles and Fall-Apart in plastic glass cases. She was rescued along with her friends by Bonkers and Lucky.

She made a few, very brief and short cameos in the "Lucky" episodes, and then made full on-screen return in New Partners on the Block where she had more screen and speaking time then she did in the pilot "Going Bonkers".

She appeared more on-screen in the "Miranda" episodes, despite those where only for a few episodes. She did appear at the beginning of the episode "CasaBonkers" when Bonkers spotted her sitting across the Rubber Room from him and Miranda (who one can only guess where there for lunch) and at the end of the episode where she was standing in the bus parking lot looking across at Bonkers, who she walked off into the sunset with and Bonkers telling her that ("...Your my one and only.").

She remains one of Disney's most popular female characters to come out and be a part of the Disney Afternoon.
