The Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands is the Solomon Islands' head of government, consequent on being the leader of the party or coalition with majority support in the National Parliament. The Solomon Islands are a Commonwealth realm. Since 20 December 2007, the Prime Minister has been Derek Sikua of the Liberal Party.
