- Janice Kulyk Keefer
Janice Kulyk Keefer (born
2 June ,1952 ) is a Canadian novelist and poet.Born in
Toronto , she studied literature at universities inEngland andFrance , and currently teaches literature and theatre in the graduate studies department at theUniversity of Guelph .Of Ukrainian heritage, Kulyk Keefer often writes about the experiences of first-generation Canadian children of immigrants.
She was named winner of the
Marian Engel Award for her body of work in1999 .Works
