Baby Guinness

A Baby Guinness is a style of cocktail, or mixed alcoholic beverage, of the kind intended to be drunk in one shot and usually known as a "shooter".

A Baby Guinness contains no Guinness beer: its name derives from the fact that it is made in such a way as to look like a tiny glass of stout. The main ingredient is Coffee liqueur (such as Tia Maria or Kahlúa). This is topped by a layer of Baileys Irish Cream, a whiskey- and cream-based liqueur, which is poured over the back of a spoon so that it sits on the coffee liqueur like the head on a pint of Guinness.

It is normally served in a small whiskey glass or a shot glass.

In the U.K. a Baby Guinness is often served with black Sambuca instead of coffee liqueur.
