Users are given the opportunity to entercompetition s to winmovie -related products.On occasion, "FilmFocus" runs special features covering particularly films or subjects. History
Since opening in January 2004, "FilmFocus" has gone through one major
design change.The regular feature "Look At", which combined interview features with making-of pieces and dedicated editorials, was replaced by a simple Interviews section. The latter two features were moved to a special "Focus On" section which also includes "FilmFocus"' one-off special features.
In early
2005 , FilmFocus began offering readers RSS feeds. Initially for its news content, these soon spread to its cinema reviews, interviews, competitions and feature coverage.The "FilmFocus" Film of The Year award
In January
2006 "FilmFocus" gave its first Film of The Year Award, for 2005, toJoss Whedon 'sscience fiction film "Serenity (film) ". Whedon collected the award in London [http://www.filmfocus.co.uk/specials/serenity-foty.asp] .The award was presented following a Top-25 list of the previous year's films, of which "Serenity" came first. According to "FilmFocus", the list was composed of the editorial staff's picks along with contributions and feedback from its users.
