Chris Prynoski born November 1, 1971,[1] is an American animator, director, and producer.
Prynoski was born in Trenton, New Jersey and grew up in Bordentown, New Jersey. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1994.[2] He then spent several years working in the industry in New York, mostly on his own or through MTV's in-house studio. In the year 2000, he moved to Hollywood, California, where he began to develop television and film projects through his own studio Titmouse, Inc.
Chris Prynoski has many TV and film credits, including Metalocalypse on Cartoon Network and his own creation, the series MTV Downtown, which was nominated for a primetime Emmy Award. He has also directed on MTV's Daria and the hallucination sequence of Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, which was nominated for "Best Animated Sequence in a Feature Film" by the National Cartoonists Society. Chris has created the opening title for MTV's The Osbournes. He has directed animation for many television commercials including an animated "Foot Long Hot Dog Inventor" spot for Budweiser, many music videos including artists such as Velvet Revolver, Snoop Dogg and George Clinton, and among other projects, a Dexter's Lab spoof with They Might Be Giants for Cartoon Network. His list of directing credits also include The Amazing Screw-On Head starring Paul Giamatti, Megas XLR for Cartoon Network, and Happy Monster Band for Disney.
Prynoski's most recent projects include directing Adult Swim's Freaknik: The Musical and Executive Producing Black Panther for Marvel and G.I. Joe: Resolute for Hasbro.
His animation studio, Titmouse, is best known for their work on the Guitar Hero game cinematics, and television series work on such shows as Metalocalypse, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Afro Samurai, DJ & the Fro and Freaknik: The Musical.
