Triyugi Narayan is a scenic village located in
Rudraprayag District ,Uttarakhand . Triyuginarayan is around 12 km from Sonprayag on motorable road. It can also be reached by a short trek of 5 km from Sonprayag. Major point of attraction here is an oldVishnu temple, situated on the ancient bridle path that links Ghuttur withKedarnath . The shrine resembles the temple ofKedarnath in architectural style and hence attracts a lot of devotees from far and near. Rudra Kund, Vishnu Kund and Brahma Kund are other holy spots in the village. Legend says that Triyugi Narayan was the venue of the wedding betweenLord Shiva andGoddess Parvati . Aneternal flame , which is believed to have been the witness of this marriage, burns in front of the temple and is never extinguished. The nearest airport isDehra Dun , 244 km from Triyuginarayan, but it is better to start the journey fromDelhi .Rishikesh is the nearest railway station, 261 km. from the site.
