diplomat andLord Privy Seal for KingHenry V of England from 1416 to 1418,Fryde "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 95] and later theBishop of Chichester . Originally fromWales , Ware served as a canon from the 1390s and then studied law, of which he was made a master, atOxford University . He later became an official in the court atCanterbury and served in diplomatic missions to France in the 1410s.Fact|date=February 2008 About April 1418 he was elected bishop of Chichester, and was consecrated in July of 1418.
