He trained in England at the FWA Academy on
January 20 ,2002 . At "FWA:A Revolt" in 2003, Eamon made his debut against Mark Underwood and has since then become a two time FWA Academy Champion.Eamon Shrahan's first title win came when he defeated one of the UK's best in the form of
James Tighe onOctober 25 ,2003 .Shrahan would trained in FWA:A alongside
Andrew Simmons , a man who he would later team up with, and feud against on a regular basis. The pair first feuded in the FWA Academy over its top title during one match between the two on January 17, 2004 saw Eamon Shrahan defeat Andy Simmons by knocking him unconscious with a piledriver (an illegal move in that promotion). After the match, Andy Simmonz thanked the fans for their support over the years, but Shrahan hit him with the FWA:A title belt.Eamon Shrahan would lose the title later after offering Stixx a title shot at any time and place, an offer Stixx would take up after Shrahan had just finished a gruelling 20 minute battle with Chris Justice on
February 21 ,2004 . However, Shrahan defeated Stixx in at FWA:A Final Battle onJuly 9 ,2004 to give him his second title reign. Shrahan would lose the title to the man he made his debut against, Mark Underwood onOctober 15 ,2004 .Eamon Shrahan, under the ring name Eamon O'Neill would branch out from the FWA after losing the title performing in various promotions under his own name and facing many other top English stars including the likes of
Phil Powers , andHade Vansen .During this time, Andy Boy Simmonz began teaming with Eamon O'Neill under the team names of The United Lions and the Irish Connection, though this would not stop the pair from facing off against each other. O'Neill, at one point, would defeat Simmonz in a match for the Catch Wrestling Council's All-In Championship, a title Simmons was holdng at the time.
