Oregon Trail is one of the nine 6th-8th junior high schools in Olathe, Kansas. The school opened its doors in the August of 1976, and serves a diverse population. Oregon Trail is located on the southwest boundary of Olathe, Kansas.

Their graduates go to either Olathe North High School along with Santa Fe Trail Middle graduates and select Indian Trail Middle graduates, or to Olathe Northwest High School along with select graduates of Santa Fe Trail Junior High and Prairie Trail Junior High. Their mascot is the Tiger, and colors are blue and white. Their traditional rivals are the Indian Trail Cougars. The 2010 8th grade football team finished 3-4, finishing 6th in the city. It has around 450 students.
