Arab City Schools is an integral part of the superior quality of life enjoyed by residents of the Arab area. Bolstered by widespread community support and involvement, the Arab City School system prides itself in providing excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and athletics. Arab City Schools has a total enrollment of approximately 2,455 students and includes 4 schools: Arab Primary School 121 Mimosa Street NEArab, AL 35016(256) 586-6005 Grades K – 2 Arab Elementary School 241 8th Ave. NE Arab, AL 35016 (256) 586-6085 Grades 3 – 5

Arab Jr. High School 911 Old Cullman Road Arab, AL 35016 (256) 586-6074 Grades 6 – 8

Arab High School 511 Arabian Drive Arab, AL 35016 (256) 586-6026 Grades 9 – 12

· All Arab City Schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, a national accreditation system whose member institutions are required to meet high established standards.· Arab City Schools currently rank fourth in the state out of 131 school systems on the Stanford-10.· Arab City Schools has been selected for the eleventh consecutive year by SchoolMatch as a school system that has what parents want.· Arab students consistently score well above the area, state, and national averages on the Stanford-10 and ACT.· Administrators and teachers are highly qualified, with all administrative staff holding the state’s highest certification.· Arab City Schools has a low dropout rate of 4.7%· Each Arab school provides a low student to teacher ratio.· Competitive teams have won numerous state and national awards.· Arab High School offers accelerated college enrollment and dual enrollment college courses.· The Community Education Program offers extended day, summer and morning programs.· Career technical, heathscience, and pre-engineering programs are offered at Arab High School.· A variety of extracurricular and athletic opportunities are available for Arab students.
