Born in 1925, Stanley Chapman is a British architect, designer, translator and writer. His interests include
theatre andpataphysics . He was involved with founding the "National Theatre" ofLondon , was a member ofOulipo of the year 1960, founder of theOutrapo and a member also of the FrenchCollège de 'Pataphysique , the [http://www.atlaspress.co.uk/theLIP/ London Institute of 'Pataphysics] and theLewis Carroll Society . His English translation ofHundred Thousand Billion Poems was received with "admiring stupefaction" byRaymond Queneau .ome Publications
