Vanvikan

Vanvikan is connected to Trondheim by means of a fast passenger boat route across the Trondheim Fjord, while the car ferry route (Rørvik-Flakk) is further to the west [Public transport map over Nord-Tøndelag at http://www.177nordtrondelag.no/ (located under "kart")] . One of the two schools in Leksvik municipality, "Vanvikan Skole" is located in Vanvikan.
