Béla Bugár (born on 7 July 1958 in Bratislava) is a Magyar (ethnically Hungarian) politician in Slovakia. He was the leader of Party of the Hungarian Coalition from 1998 until 2007, with Pál Csáky as his successor. Bugar is since 1992 MP of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. He was its acting speaker from 7 February, to 4 July 2006. Béla Bugár has already announced that he is going to retire from politics by 2010.
