Ahmad Shabery Cheek is a Malaysian politician and the current Malaysian Information Minister. He is also the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Kemaman in Terengganu. He is a member of the United Malays National Organization, the main component party of the ruling coalition Barisan Nasional or "National Front" in English.

From 2004 to 2008, he was the Parliamentary Secretary for the Foreign Ministry. After the 2008 general election which saw former Information Minister Zainuddin Maidin lose his bid for reelection, Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi appointed Ahmad Shabery as Information Minister in his reshuffled Cabinet.
