Ruth Langsford is a British television presenter, born in Singapore, 1960.

She began her career as a continuity announcer and newscaster with ITV regional station TSW in the South West of England. She left TSW when Westcountry Television took over the franchise on 1 January 1993, even closing down the station with fellow announcer, the late Ian Stirling.

Since then she has presented such programmes as "Loose Women", "Langsford Late", "Gardens of the Millennium" and "The Really Useful Show". Since 2000 she has been a guest presenter on ITV's "This Morning", and was made a regular presenter in 2006 and now presents every Friday, with her partner Eamonn Holmes. Together they also host This Morning during school holidays, when Phillip and Fern are on a break.

Ruth was also one of the main presenters on the now defunct TV Travel Shop which was on air from April 1998 to March 2005.

In March 2002 she had a child, Jack Alexander, with her partner and fellow television presenter Eamonn Holmes.

In April 2007 Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes appeared as fictionalised versions of themselves in Rob Brydon's satirical sit-com on life behind the cameras on a topical news quiz, Annually Retentive.

In December 2007, Ruth was revealed as the new face of ScS Furniture, replacing Martin Kemp.
