- Kristina Curry Rogers
Kristina A. Curry Rogers is a vertebrate
paleontologist and currently Assistant Professor in geology and biology atMacalester College . She holds a B.Sc. in Biology fromMontana State University , and a M.Sc. Ph.D. in Anatomical Science from theState University of New York at Stony Brook .cite web |url=http://www.pbs.org/kcet/shapeoflife/explorations/bio_curryrogers.html |title=Kristi Curry-Rogers |accessdate=2008-08-02 |work=The Shape of Life |publisher=Public Broadcasting Service |date= ] Her work focuses on questions of dinosaur biology, bonehistology , growth, and evolution, especially theTitanosauria , on which she wrote her doctoral dissertation. Together withCatherine Forster , Associate Professor and her teacher at Stony Brook, she discovered and described "Rapetosaurus ", the most completeCretaceous sauropod and titanosaur found to date.Through
cladistic analysis of "Rapetosaurus" and other titanosaurs, Curry Rogers was able to revise the phylogeny of the titanosaurs (see Curry Rogers 2005).References
