V. K. Choudhry is a well known Indian Vedic astrologer. His major contribution to Indian astrology is the Systems' Approach, now also known as SA in the literature. V.K. Choudhry has written many books and articles since the early 1990s with the aim of helping those who wish to learn astrology. His main emphasis is that people should learn astrology to make their lives happy. People can enjoy better health, better mental peace, better relationships and better professional success if they learn astrology. Among his ten books the best known are "Self Learning Course in Astrology", "Systems' Approach for Interpreting Horoscopes", "How to Identify Significant Events" and "Select Right Profession through Astrology".

Biography

V.K. Choudhry was born in Gurgaon, India on September 13, 1951. He holds an MBA degree. He is Chairman of the International Institute for Predictive Astrology (IIPA) in Fairfield, IA, USA. He has been a faculty member and Chapter Course Director of Astrology with Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). V.K. Choudhry participated in the 10th International Seminar of Astrology and Occult Science (ISAOS) from 11th to 13th June, 1995, at Hyderabad and delivered lectures on "Timing of Events" and "Vastu Shastra". He has participated in astrological conferences in India, UK, France and USA and had personal interaction with those who wanted to learn astrology through Systems'Approach. He set up a list on Yahoo Groups for those who wish to learn astrology and predictive accuracy. As per ancient vedic literature those who learn astrology, those who teach astrology and guide others for happy life attain moksha.

Professional career

Formerly a chief marketing manager in a public enterprise, V.K. Choudhry has in recent years devoted his time to providing astrological services to individuals around the world. He is well known for his insightful horoscope interpretation, prescient advise, accurate predictions, astrological (faith healing) remedies and for selecting auspicious moments for new undertakings.

* received the title of "Jyotish Kovid" by ICAS, Madras in 1991.
* awarded the title of "Jyotish Bhanu" by Astro Sciences Research Organization (ASRO), New Delhi in 1992.
* recipient of "Pracharya Award" as Professor of Astrology conferred by Bharat Nirman in 1993, for his "outstanding and excellent contributions in the field of astrology".
* listed in "Indo American Who's Who" in 1994, "in recognition of his contribution for predictive accuracy in Hindu Astrology".
* awarded the title of Master of Astrology by ISAOS in 1995.
* conferred the degree of Doctor of Alternative Medical Sciences by the Board of Directors of International Council of Alternative Medicines in 1996 in Mumbay.
* awarded a Gold Medal and the honorary title of "Jyotish Vachaspathi" by the International Institute of Astrology and Occultism (IIAO), in 1996 in New Delhi.
* conferred the title of Dharam Yogi by the International Foundation of Peace, Fraternity and Humanistics (IFPFH), in 1995 in Mumbay.
* conferred the title of "Vastu Shastra Samrat" by ICAS in 1996.
* received the title of "Sthapatya Ratna" by Bhartiya Ved Jyotish Vigyan Sansthan in 1996 in Modinagar for "his valuable contributions in the fields of Astrology and Vastu Shastra".
