SKYCITY Adelaide, formerly known as the Adelaide Casino, is South Australia's only casino. It is located in Adelaide's historic Railway Station building and provides some 70 gaming tables and 950 gaming machines. Table games include roulette, blackjack, the Australian game of two-up, craps, Caribbean stud poker, baccarat and poker. History

The Adelaide Casino opened in 1985 and was owned by the South Australian government. In June 2000 it was sold to SKYCITY Entertainment Group. It officially became the SKYCITY Adelaide in April 2001. A three year interior redevelopment project began in December 2003.

Controversy

Following a 2006 refurbishment to the casino's North Terrace frontage, the historical Balfours Pie Cart, which famously sold pie floaters, was removed from its location.
