Michael Westphal

Michael Westphal

Michael Westphal (February 19, 1965 in Pinneberg – June 20, 1991 in Hamburg) was a tennis player from West Germany.

Westphal participated for his native country in the 1984 Summer Olympics, making it as far as the quarterfinals. The right-hander reached his highest singles ATP ranking on March 17, 1986, coming in at number 49 in the world.

Westphal died of complications from AIDS on June 20, 1991.
