The current warden is Bobby P. Shearin, who has over 35 years of experience in corrections.
NBCI prison began housing male death row, maximum and medium security inmates, who were moved from the Maryland Correctional Adjustment Center, and Jessup Men's Correctional Institution Annex in June 2010. Inmates are co-mingled within this facility. [4]
