Social Europe Journal

The "Social Europe Journal" is the first electronic quarterly journal for the European left. It aims at being a place for basic principle discussions and political thinking also relevant beyond the boundaries of Europe.

"Social Europe" was founded in 2005 by the politicians and academics Detlev Albers, Stephen Haseler and Henning Meyer. In was formed in a joint initiative with the Party of European Socialists (PES) and other think tanks, politicians and academics from across Europe.
