- Beverly Glen Boulevard
Beverly Glen Boulevard is one of three major routes that connects West Los Angeles to the
San Fernando Valley (the other two are the 405 Freeway andSepulveda Boulevard ).It starts off at
Pico Boulevard in West Los Angeles. It proceeds to intersect with major streets such asSanta Monica Boulevard andWilshire Boulevard . Century City andLos Angeles Country Club are located near those two intersections, respectively.Beverly Glen Blvd travels further north, intersecting with
Sunset Boulevard nearUCLA and entering the gated communities of Bel Air. The hills that the boulevard passes through north of Sunset and south ofMulholland Drive is known asBeverly Glen . Beverly Glen is a wealthy section of Bel Air, filled with large homes and gated communities. After passing Mulholland, Beverly Glen Blvd swerves west and passes through the exclusive homes in
Sherman Oaks . It eventually ends atVentura Boulevard in the south end of the Valley. Commuters seeking to go further north in the Valley go one block west toVan Nuys Boulevard which spans most of the Valley's length.Beverly Glen Blvd is east of Sepulveda Blvd and the 405. When traffic on the 405 becomes unbearable, many commuters take Beverly Glen Blvd or Sepulveda Blvd instead, causing considerable congestions on both streets.
