East Bay Senior High School was chartered in
1959 on Big Bend Road inGibsonton, Florida . The school's current facility was established in1971 , on a new campus adjacent to the east of the old one. Its former campus is now the campus of Eisenhower Middle School.General information

The school surpasses its 1,700 student capacity on a regular basis. In the 2005-2006 school year, the school held around 2,300 students. Even with the opening of two new high schools--

East Bay's Athletic Director is Scot Tipton. Mr. Tipton was a respected wrestling coach in Hillsborough County with Bloomingdale, and today he lends his guidance and support to the Indians program.
Mascot, motto, and colors
The school's mascot and football team is the "Fighting
India n". The campus is adorned with manyIndia n-related Senior Class projects, most notably the full-sized wall paintings of an Indian warrior in the gymnasium. Former East Bay wrestling coach Tom Lota was a 2006 inductee into the Florida Wrestling Hall of Fame.After Lota retired from East Bay, Erik Matricardi took over the wrestling program.
The school motto is "Determined to Achieve".
