Eve Chalom

Eve Chalom

Eve Chalom (born October 22, 1979 in Detroit, Michigan) was an American figure skater. She twice won the silver medals in ice dance at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships with Mathew Gates. Chalom is almost entirely deaf, having lost most of her hearing in both ears after a childhood accident. She received bachelor degrees from the University of Michigan in English and Philosophy. Chalom currently resides in New York City where she is engaged and works as a modern dancer. In addition, she teaches figure skating part-time.
