Mathew Gates (born June 29, 1975 in Hitchin, England) is a former American ice dancer. He twice won silver at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships with Eve Chalom. After that partnership ended, he teamed up with Emilie Nussear in 2002, and the duo competed at Nationals in 2003. Mathew currently works as a coach and choreographer. He is an International Technical Specialist for the United States.[1]
