Quantity (metadata)

Quantity (metadata)

In metadata, a Quantity is a non-monetary data element representation term type with unit of measure.

If a monetary unit is described the Amount (metadata) should be used.

If a physical object is measured using a metric such as height, length or weight, the representation term Measure should be used with the corresponding unit of measure.
