The Rady School of Management at the
University of California, San Diego is a graduate-levelbusiness school offering full-time and part-timeMaster of Business Administration (MBA) degree programs in addition to executive education. The Rady School of Management is the newest professional school at theUniversity of California, San Diego , one of the top-ranked institutions in the U.S. for higher education and research. The Rady School of Management joins UCSD's three existing professional schools, theUC San Diego School of Medicine (ranked 14th nationally for research) theGraduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies , and the Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Science.Programs
The Rady School offers a Full-Time MBA program, a FlexMBA program for working professionals, as well as undergraduate and executive education courses. The MBA program's capstone course is known as "Lab-to-Market," over which students spend up to a full year studying (and in some cases implementing) the processes by which entrepreneurs explore, cultivate, and launch new ventures.
Founding dean
Robert S. Sullivan, Ph.D., was appointed founding dean on January 1, 2003. Prior to his arrival at UCSD, he served as dean of the
Kenan-Flagler Business School at theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , and as dean of the Graduate School of Industrial Administration atCarnegie Mellon University .Otterson Hall
Otterson Hall, named "in honor of the late William (Bill) Otterson, co-founder of UCSD CONNECT, in appreciation for his contributions to the San Diego business community and his impact on the region."
The $43M facility comprises convert|50000|sqft|m2|-3 of classrooms, offices, and community space, and will serve as the permanent home to the Rady School. The building provides views overlooking the Pacific Ocean,

The
Beyster Institute at the Rady School focuses on training, education and consulting in entrepreneurship and employee ownership. TheBeyster Institute was established by Dr. J.
