Victor "Vic" Eliason (1936-) was born in northern
Minnesota , 100 miles northwest of
Duluth. Eliason grew up the son of alay preacher serving at Swedish Baptist Church. Eliason attended Open Bible College, inDes Moines ,Iowa , and wasordain ed in anon-denominational church , in 1958. Wisconsin , in 1959, he founded what has become today theVCY America Radio Network , aconservative Christian broadcasting ministry , based in Milwaukee. VCY America also provides programming viasatellite to stations around the country. The ministry is 100 percent funded through listeners' and supporters' donations.Eliason is a prominent on-air personality for the network, with duties including being one of the regular hosts for the network's morning public affairs program, "VCY Today", and for the network's weekday afternoon public affairs program, "Crosstalk," which is taped and rebroadcast every weekday evening and is also replayed at Noon, on Saturday, as "Best of Crosstalk". Eliason also provides the
voiceover s for the network’s overnight music program, "Music 'Til Dawn", and at various other spots the network needs a voice.References
