Abraham Rabinovitch

Abraham Rabinovitch (1889 to July 1964) was a well respected pioneer of the Sydney Jewish community, in particular as a founder and philanthropist of Sydney's full-time Jewish educational institutions. Rabinovitch was born in Russia in 1889, and died July 1964 in Sydney.

Accomplishments

Rabinovitch founded two large educational institutions, the Yeshiva Centre and Moriah College. He also built New South Wales' first mikvah at 117 Glenayr Avenue Bondi.
