Madehurst is a small village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It is located 4 miles (6.4km) to the north-west of Arundel, to the west of the A29 road. The civil parish covers an area of 765.96ha and has a population of 105 persons (2001 census).

Madehurst is situated in two beautiful valleys. The view from near Dale Park Farm over New Barn Farm towards Parletts Farm is very pleasant and people often walk here. A favourite walk is to the top of the Downs at Bignor Post. The walk starts from Chichester Lodge (on the A29), proceeds along the footpath, continues through The Drove, New Barn and Parletts farms and finishes at Stammers.

The parish church

The Anglican parish church, dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene, is built of local flint. It was restored and enlarged in 1864 [ [http://steve.pickthall.users.btopenworld.com/ssx1867/madehurst1867.html GENUK] ] , when the north aisle and a new chancel were added.clear
