The show tends to refrain from stunts on the scale of
Opie and Anthony andMancow Muller , but it has had its moments. The show has evolved into a fast paced positive, upbeat, morning show. Many zany antics have resulted in "The Dude" getting arrested.* On September 14th, 2007 the show ran a record hour and twenty minutes over schedule after the Dude and then-regular John Smith were hypnotized. Many callers, message board posters and emailers said that day's show was a high point in the Ocean City run.
* After being thrown out of a7-11 while dressed up as a nudeCupid , aSt. Patrick's Day parade confrontation with police led to the Dude being legally prohibited from entering anyMaryland 7-11.
* The apex of a long-running feud between the Dude and newsman John Smith resulted in a go-kart race-- the loser of which had to have their head shaved by the owner, Leighton Moore. The Dude won and Smith's head was shaved on-air.
* After hearing that a Maryland judge had ruled thatmooning someone was not illegal, Bulldog forced Dude to stand on the median ofCoastal Highway pantsless, with Ocean 98 bumper stickers on his rear end.
* A milk-drinking contest nearly resulted in the hospitalization of two Seacrets kitchen workers.External links
