It is a workers only station serving theJohn Lysaght factory, which is owned by BHP.The station has two side platforms, connected by an overhead footbridge. It is served by approximately one train per hour, usually a local service to Thirroul, but there are extra direct trains to and from Sydney in the peak hours.
An alternative name given to it is Springhill, and this name is used on some maps.
