Northshore High School, often abbreviated to NHS, is a public school for grades nine through twelve located Slidell, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. The school serves the eastern portion of the parish and some portions of Slidell.[1] It is the home of the Panthers.

Northshore is a part of the St. Tammany Parish Public Schools.

School uniforms

Northshore requires school uniforms. The school requires a blue or white shirt and khaki pants. Girls are allowed to wear authorized plaid skirts, and student interns in the allied health field are permitted to wear scrubs rather than their usual uniform pants. However, on the last Friday of the month, students are allowed to wear a class/club Northshore High School t-shirt along with their uniform khakis.[2]

School Newspaper, The Prowler

Northshore High School's printed newspaper has existed for years. However, it has recently been transferred to an online edition in order to provide timely information to students and parents, as well as to help the environment. Teacher of the Year

This year teachers of the year were freshman physical science teacher Claude Songy and freshman Algebra 2 teacher Ms. Andrews-Borque.
