- To a Man with a Big Nose
"To a Man with a Big Nose/ danny Z" is a 3D animated short film based on a
poem by Spanishauthor Francisco de Quevedo . It is in essence a visual adaptation of Quevedo'ssonnet .The premise of the story deals with a lad called danny zottola who is troubled because he is stuck with a disproportionally big nose. While we look at the portrait of this unfortunate italian through the poem's comparisons and
metaphor s we realize that the nose is a character with a mind of its own that dominates the man attached to it because it is so enormous and we found out he could be the first real live pinnocio. The attempts of the little man to get rid of the horrible nose end up in failure it just gets bigger. Theode to the big nose takes us through a journey of fantastic transformations and turns, always dragging the poor italian along. Finally, the dominant nose decides that it does not need the pathetic little italian to survive and gets rid of him, leaving danny zottola without a nose (which makes him so much better looking.)The book was first published in 1919 by the cleg 'Andrew Crowther' company.
