Eagle County Regional Airport airport codes|EGE|KEGE, sometimes referred to as Eagle County Airport, is a public airport located four miles (6 km) west of the central business district (CBD) of Eagle, a town in Eagle County, Colorado, United States. The airport serves the county and visitors to the nearby Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts. It covers convert|632|acre|ha|0|lk=on and has one long runway to accommodate 757s.

The airport is highly seasonal, in that most of its scheduled flights only operate from EGE during the winter. Only United and American offer year-round service, to Denver and Dallas respectively. Operations into the airport during the summer months have proven to be increasingly popular with tourists. United now operates daily flights from Chicago-O'Hare during the summer. Before each winter season, airlines introduce new or more frequent services, as demand for non-stop flights into EGE continues to rise. Due to the abundance of flights during the ski season, some passengers fly into EGE rather than attempting to fly into the much smaller airports in Hayden/Steamboat Springs (Yampa Valley Airport) and Aspen (Aspen-Pitkin County Airport). The Eagle County Airport is also popular with private aircraft operators.

Five out of six carriers operate Boeing 757s into the airport, but there are no jetways at EGE; all passengers board and disembark their aircraft via airstairs.

In the winter, American, Continental, Delta, Northwest and United provide non-stop jet service between EGE and twelve major U.S. cities. American is the dominant airline at the airport with 5 destinations in the winter. New York-JFK is the newest destination for American Airlines and will replace the previous Newark-Eagle route, which will become very attractive and convenient to New York City travelers.

Summer options include daily non-stop Boeing 757 flights between EGE and Dallas/Ft. Worth on American Airlines, and Chicago and Denver, on United Airlines. Competitively priced American and United services link up Eagle County Airport with their Dallas/Ft. Worth and Denver hubs, and hundreds of domestic and international cities.

Terminal

The small one level terminal holds many accommodations. There are 4 luggage carousels, 2-3 TSA screening lanes, 5 gates, a restaurant and a gift shop. There are taxis and limos available at the airport to bring you to the surrounding area, including Beaver Creek and Vail. There are also many car rental locations including Dollar, Avis, Hertz and Budget.
