International Selkirk Loop

The International Selkirk Loop is a convert|280|mi|km scenic road loop circling the Selkirk Mountains. The Loop has been named North America's only International Scenic Byway. It traverses eastern Washington, northern Idaho and southern British Columbia. The nearest large city is Spokane, Washington, convert|47|mi|km from the loop. Cities actually on the loop include Nelson, BC, Creston, BC, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Sandpoint, Idaho, Priest River, Idaho, and Metaline Falls, Washington. The loop includes the Kootenay Lake Ferry, the longest free ferry in the world.

It was designated an All-American Road by the United States Department of Transportation.
