The RSA Academy (formerly Willingsworth High School) is one of 25,000 new academies opened in the UK in 2008. The academy is sponsored by the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and is located in Tipton, West Midlands, England. The academy is the first in the UK to follow the Opening Minds curriculum

The school's history dates back to September 1958, when Willingsworth High School opened as a new secondary modern school to serve the Ocker Hill and Princes End areas of Tipton.

It became the RSA Academy in September 2008.

The academy has three houses, Romney, Shipley and Adam.

The academy's current headteacher is Mr Michael Gernon, who was appointed on the school's opening to replace former Willingsworth head Mr Patrick Sporer.

The RSA Academy is currently based within the Willingsworth buildings but the go-ahead has been given for a new school building to be built and it is expected to be ready by September 2010. The willingsworth buildings will be demolished in late 2010
