Jonathan Lowe (E.J. Lowe) (born 1950) is currently Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Examination Board of the Department of Philosophy at
Durham University , England. He was born in the UK, educated at theUniversity of Cambridge , 1968-72, and theUniversity of Oxford , 1972-75. His main areas of research and publication are inmetaphysics ,philosophy of mind ,philosophical logic , and the history of early modern philosophy.Publications
