Aspall Cider

Aspall Cider (cyder) is a brewery located at Aspall Hall in Aspall, Suffolk, England best known for producing ciders.

History

The business has been established since the mid-18th century based on apple trees introduced from Jersey initially for the use of the Chevallier family, the owners of the estate, who were from that island. It was a founder member of the influential Soil Association in 1946.

In addition to cyder, Aspalls also make an unfermented Apple Juice, Organic Cyder Vinegar and Apple Balsamic Vinegar. The company also imports and markets: Spanish Red Wine Vinegar and White Wine Vinegar, and an Italian Organic Balsamic Vinegar.

*Aspall Draught Suffolk Cyder (5.5% ABV) - available on draught, or in bottles

*Aspall Dry Premier Cru Suffolk Cyder (7% ABV) - bottles only
*Aspall Perronelle's Blush Suffolk Cyder (5.4% ABV) - bottles only (includes "creme de mure" (blackberry liquer))
