Galindez Island is an
island 0.5mile s (0.8 km) long, lying immediately east of Winter Island in theArgentine Islands ,Wilhelm Archipelago . Discovered by theFrench Antarctic Expedition , 1903-05, under Charcot, who named it for CommanderIsmael F.
