Den Burg (53°3′N 4°48′E / 53.05°N 4.8°E / 53.05; 4.8) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Texel, on the island of that name, and lies about 12 km north of Den Helder.

Den Burg is the largest and least touristic village of the island, though it has a historic centre, and it is the main town of the municipality. It is located in the middle of the island. The town hall is situated here. Outdoor markets are held each week in the main square.

In 2001, the town of Den Burg had 6160 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 1.47 km², and contained 2645 residences.[1] The slightly larger statistical district "Den Burg" has a population of around 6380.[2]
