The Killsnake River is a small
river in easternWisconsin in theUnited States . It is atributary of the South Branch of theManitowoc River , which flows toLake Michigan .The river flows for its entire course in central Calumet County. It rises about 3 mi (5 km) east of
Lake Winnebago and flows generally east-southeastwardly; it joins the South Branch of the Manitowoc River about 6 mi (10 km) east of Chilton in the Killsnake Wildlife Area.Killsnake Wildlife Area
The convert|5777|acre|km2 surrounding where the Killsnake River joins the Manitowoc River has been designated a
wildlife refuge by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
