It is an automobile bridge that traverses the Mississippi River. There is another bridge directly southeast of the area, the Interstate 90 Mississippi River bridge.
The bridge has a street setup, with one lane in either direction. It carries Minnesota State Highway 43 and WI 54 in either direction.
