Shin'onsen, Hyōgo

Shin'onsen, Hyōgo

is a town located in Mikata District, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.

The city was founded on October 1, 2005, as a result of the merger between the towns of Onsen and Hamasaka.

As of May 1, 2008, the town has an estimated population of 17,542 and a density of 76 persons per km². The total area is 241.0 km².
