"So Damn Fine" is a song by Joanne, released as the fifth single from her 2001 debut album, "Do Not Disturb".

History

"So Damn Fine" was released on April 16, 2001. It debuted and peaked at #25 on the ARIA charts, her 2nd highest single to date. "So Damn Fine" is the first track on Joanne's debut album and has said she always admired the confident girls who had the courage to approach boys and make conversation. Joanne's problem was that she was "So Damn Shy" and she would let that damn fine guy drift away into the night, all because she didn't have the courage to speak her mind. "So Damn Fine" is Joanne's way of verbalising all the hidden thoughts and feelings that Joanne never had the guts to express.

"So Damn Fine" was filmed in Bali and in an interview alongside radio hosts and now Australian Idol judge Kyle Sandilands & Australian Princess host Jackie O, Kyle was dared to go along to Bali with Joanne and crew and be in the video for "So Damn Fine" and appear in speedos. Though, rumour had it that Kyle then changed his mind last minute during filming and only appeared for 3 seconds in the video along near the waterfall.
