Pathlight School is a school for autistic children in
Singapore . It opened in January 2004 and currently has more than 240 students, aged 6 to 16.Overview
In addition to providing an autism-friendly environment for education in mainstream academic curriculum, Pathlight School offers special educational programmes to impart life skills for students with autism and related disorders.
Café@Pathlight
In January 2006, Pathlight School opened a special
Starbucks cafe, known as Café@Pathlight, to teach some of its students, aged 12 and 15, simple work and life skills. Headquarters
Currently, the school resides at the former Chong Li Primary School building at Ang Mo Kio and will shift to a building (which is not yet bulit) near Townsville Primary School by 2009.
